At Lowe Farm, you can enjoy traditional English farmhouse cooking at its best. Fresh and wholesome local produce - including vegetables straight from Juliet's own organic kitchen garden - is the mainstay of all our menus. We serve meat from the farm next door and eggs from our own back yard. 'Local Food Is Miles Better' is more than just a slogan on the door.

We may not be able to cater for every special dietary need, but we will certainly try. Juliet is herself lactose-intolerant, and sympathetic to the problems of others who find it hard to eat certain common food ingredients. This is reflected in the foods Juliet keeps in the house or can prepare on request.
Enjoyment of a meal depends not only on the food, of course, but also on the ambiance in which you eat. So we won't hurry you down for breakfast; any time before 10 is fine. And you'll be served by friendly staff, happy to linger and talk if you feel the inclination. In the evening, what could be finer than taking dinner at a huge oak table, in the reassuring permanence of our ancient farm?
Breakfast is included with every room booking; evening meals are provided by arrangement, and 24 hours' notice is required. Evening meals are not available on Wednesdays, Saturdays or (from June to October) on Mondays.
